I came home to find out Reggie, our once believed housebroken dog, had peed on the carpet. And not normal pee: toxic neon staining pee. It took three scrubbing sessions and a few passes with the carpet cleaner for me to give up and turn to the internets. A suggested mix of baking soda, hydrogen peroxide, and dish soap worked perfectly.
On top of this a muddy Reggie had decided to hide his chew bone underneath the white sheets on my bed. The sheets are currently in the washer.
And then I dropped his newly filled water bowl on the kitchen floor, which from the height it fell at, had enough velocity to splatter water over the fridge and almost every wood cabinet and thoroughly drench my rug.
Time to call it a day and appreciate the pettiness and silliness of it all.
